Biodiversity Net Gain
More than two years since the Environment Act 2021 passed, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) requires developers of homes, businesses and infrastructure to demonstrate a minimum 10% increase in biodiversity compared to what was on site before the development, in order to achieve planning approval.
At Nattergal, we are excited about this new initiative as it not only supports our mission to rewild and restore nature, it also creates an additional funding source to enable our projects – and nature – to thrive.
As an outcome of the landscape-scale nature recovery projects we are undertaking, we have a number of high integrity BNG units available for purchase.
